You have been subscribed to a public bug:
Running the Ubuntu from the CD on first attempt.
Same version - different CD - ran fine and performed this same function
perfectly on a different computer.
Steps to reproduce the problem:
Boot system from CD
Right Click on desktop.
Select Change Desltop Background
system appears to pause
error message appears:
