When transferring a torrent file, the screensaver will activate once the
set time is reached for a split second and then go off. I had set the
time to activate to 1 minute but it acts the same regardless of the
time. I also tried with and without "Lock screen when screensaver is
active" and tried various screensaver choices with the same results in
all cases.
This is on Ubuntu 7.10 (completely up-to-date on 12-17-2007) using:
Bittornado T-0.3.18
Python 2.5.1 (r251:54863, Oct 5 2007, 13:36:32)
[GCC 4.1.3 20070929 (prerelease) (Ubuntu 4.1.2-16ubuntu2)]
wxPython version: 2.6.3.2
Also, I was on a wireless connection and was using a pptp type VPN
connection.
The hardware:
Sony VGN SZ650N/C in speed mode (nVidia graphics card active using the
restricted driver form nVidia)
