In Hardy, I use the users and groups admin tool to add a user with name "admin".
That's not permissable, since it already exists. But it doesn't show me that
anything's wrong, and it looks like the user has been created.
Yet when I restart the application, it obviously wasn't.
Using the command line shows me the problem: "admin" was not available
as a name.
I want the application to tell me when creating a user has failed, and
to tell me why.
