I cannot reproduce this on Dapper, with the following details for evince and
libpoppler1 :

On Breezy, with Evince 0.4.0-0.ubuntu4.1.0 is when I can reproduce the problem.
I am not uploading a sample pdf as this problem does not seem to be a bug
anymore.
