I was also having this problem on Gutsy, but I believe I have found the issue and a workaround. I use a laptop, and when I log in the network connection is not established. However, if I understand how Evolution works, the evolution-data-server process is already started and appears to be retaining the unconfigured network state.
If you open up a terminal and do an evolution --force-shutdown, then restart evolution while you have a network connection established, Evolution seems to be able to get to the calendars after that. -- Google Calendar ics support https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/74070 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
