Binary package hint: nautilus
Ubuntu 8.04 It started as Alpha3 (I assume it has been updated to Alpha4 by
daily updates)
I do not know how to check which alpha release it is
Nautilus version 2.21.90
Problem:
Nautilus left pane problem
When Nautilus is opened Home folder is on top, next is File System, then
C, then D, then E then H
When I click on the triangle next to File System, File System goes to the
bottom and C is where File System was and it says loading under C. I can open
all others and all of them work OK.
I can click on C and it will open in the right pane (loading is still displayed
under C in left pane)
If I then click on the triangle beside C Nautilus closes and reopens
The problem only happens if I try to open File Systems
I looked at system logs but they show nothing
