Hi Basilio,

I am having a similar issue with my installation of Totem on Xubuntu
7.10. Totem crashes immediately upon launch from command line, launcher,
or double-clicking a video file. When run from the command line (with
--debug or not) it produces "Bus error (core dumped)".

Related package versions:
gstreamer0.10-alsa 0.10.14-1ubuntu3
gstreamer0.10-gnomevfs 0.10.14-1ubuntu3
gstreamer0.10-plugins-base 0.10.14-1ubuntu3

gstreamer0.10-x 0.10.14-1ubuntu3

libgstreamer0.10-0 0.10.14-1ubuntu3
libtotem-plparser7 2.20.0-0ubuntu3
libxine1 1.1.7-1ubuntu1
libxine1-ffmpeg 1.1.7-1ubuntu1
totem 2.20.0-0ubuntu3
totem-gstreamer 2.20.0-0ubuntu3

I know that Xubuntu ships with totem-xine, but I was having problems
with that as well, so I thought I would give the gstreamer variant a
try.

Best,
Jon
