Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

If I move iPod songs to the trash via the left-click menu, they are deleted
from the database.
On eject, the program says (I think) "Unable to unmount" and then also throws a
blank error message with an OK button.

If I remount the iPod, the songs deleted are no longer in the database, but
they are still on the iPod...
Rhythmbox reads the database, and says that I have additional space, but if I
try to copy over new songs, i get the "No space left on resource" error, since
there really isn't any space.

I noticed that I can find them manually by sorting by the Last Accessed
date, and deleting files that were accessed that day (and the time will
always say 00:00:00, regardless of what time it was when I deleted them
inside Rhythmbox).
