If anyone thought that this might be a concern, yes, I DID disable both NoScript and Adblock Plus in Firefox, with the same results, yelp appears to search for help files and crashes. Initially the blank window may stay up for about 15 seconds before closing. After that it opens only momentarily, then closes.
In another yelp bug, the yelp (Firefox) browser remains open but is unable to find some contents, or links do not work. I reinstalled ubuntu-docs and gnome-doc-utils on the speculation that the document structure was damaged, but this didn't help. If anyone has any suggestions, I would like to try them. But I am in the midst of moving residence, and there will probably be a few days' delay. -- Help and Support (yelp 2.20.0) closes immediately https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/192220 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for yelp in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
