Binary package hint: gnome-panel
see above. am trying to play straight dvd. installed vlc as existing [mplayer,
etc] lacked proper codec? that's what 'totem' kept coughing up. now, still
can't play my 'kylie fever' & the only way i can c 2 close vlc is 2 do a
restart.
am sure ur giggling at my complete lack of linux knowledge, but this is the
type of crap that may seem simplistic 2 u, but is the number 1 reason why linux
keeps falling flat on its face with the non c+++ crowd

vlc 'playlist' has frozen both it & the vlc player. can not close either
