Thanks for responding - I know this is kinda old now, but it's still true in 7.10.
As for being extremely slow, the more programs you install, the more entries there are, and this seem to slow it down, a lot. could this be fixed some how? Furthermore,after adding a couple custom entries to the menu, say, 3, 4, 6, or more, just clicking the menu button on the panel for the first time after every logon takes a long time to load. Ah, Why??? I'm just kind of worked up a bout this because it's just such a fast efficient high-class operating system,you would not expect there to be major flaws like this menus in it still! As for the moving of items, once you figure it out, it's not so bad, but it's still slow to do this, and it often will /still/ not work, or duplicate the launchers, etc. As for the new window appearing /under/ the main window, why are we doing this now? Just to confuse people? I mean, I can find it because I actually check the window list but a lot of people will expect it to just open and show up, including me... It doesn't seem to always do this, but most of the time... Now that I think about it, I think it's the desktop effects that cause it for some reason - another bug.
