hardy alpha 4 I am using the nvidia driver locally compiled and a
custom xorg.conf jockey and restricted drivers not installed . booting
to deskop everything is correct however if x is killed (ctrl>alt>bkspc)
and restarted (startx ) the resolution is wrong 1280x1024 should be
1440x900 , if I then go to system>preferences>screen resolution the
correct resolution is not shown ,it is like xorg.conf is not being read
on restart of x.
