Binary package hint: totem
Totem skips a few times near the beginning of the song while playing the
visualization. During this time, one of my cpu cores alternates between
100% and < 10% utilization. At first the visualization doesn't show up
and all I can see is black. After about 10-30 seconds, it finally shows
up and the audio is normally smooth from that point on.
I'm using Ubuntu Gutsy, amd64
libgstreamer0.10-0 is at version: 0.10.14-1ubuntu3
totem-gstreamer is at version: 2.20.0-0ubuntu3
I captured a totem log using 'GST_DEBUG_NO_COLOR=1 GST_DEBUG=*:2 totem'
which I'm attaching
Though it consists mostly of lines like this:
