Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evince
* Using Gutsy * Open attached PDF in evince 2.20.1-0ubuntu1 * Select "Print* * lpq shows print job in queue * A few moments later, print job disappears from queue * No output on printer, or even warmup sounds * This is repeatable. But evince doesn't crash. At one point, I got the below error text on my console, which may or may not be relevant. Gerv Error: /rangecheck in --xyshow-- Operand stack: (\002\003) --nostringval-- Execution stack: %interp_exit .runexec2 --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- 2 %stopped_push --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- false 1 %stopped_push 1893 1 3 %oparray_pop 1892 1 3 %oparray_pop 1876 1 3 %oparray_pop 1755 1 3 %oparray_pop --nostringval-- %errorexec_pop .runexec2 --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- 2 %stopped_push --nostringval-- Dictionary stack: --dict:1154/1684(ro)(G)-- --dict:0/20(G)-- --dict:106/200(L)-- Current allocation mode is local GPL Ghostscript SVN PRE-RELEASE 8.61: Unrecoverable error, exit code 1 Error: /rangecheck in --xyshow-- Operand stack: (\002\003) --nostringval-- Execution stack: %interp_exit .runexec2 --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- 2 %stopped_push --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- false 1 %stopped_push 1893 1 3 %oparray_pop 1892 1 3 %oparray_pop 1876 1 3 %oparray_pop 1755 1 3 %oparray_pop --nostringval-- %errorexec_pop .runexec2 --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- 2 %stopped_push --nostringval-- Dictionary stack: --dict:1154/1684(ro)(G)-- --dict:0/20(G)-- --dict:106/200(L)-- Current allocation mode is local GPL Ghostscript SVN PRE-RELEASE 8.61: Unrecoverable error, exit code 1 ** (evince:493): WARNING **: Interpreter failed. ** (evince:493): WARNING **: Interpreter failed. ** Affects: evince (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- evince fails to print attached PDF https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/197236 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evince in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
