Install CD on an IBM ThinkPad X60s.
- System installed on an encrypted LVM.
Steps to reproduce:
- Boot system.
- Initiate shutdown sequence.
- GDM exits and the root console appears.
- Blinking cursor after the "Running local boot scripts ..." line.
- The shutdown sequence continues and finishes successfully when I press
the power button at this time.
