Hi, Ubuntu does not play AAC and mp3pro out-of-the box. The reason is explained in this document:

Let me encourage you to consider also streaming your station in Ogg Vorbis format. Information on vorbis can be found here. http://www.vorbis.com/faq/ and there is plenty of Free Software out there that can do this for you. If you decide stream in vorbis then please file another bug for including your radio station in our music player by default. I think that would be cool.
