Sebastien, I understand that the panel is user-level configuration, but the Evolution top panel launcher icon is on ALL DEFAULT UBUNTU INSTALLS. This makes it a default configuration when you install Ubuntu (trust me, I'd much rather NOT have an Evolution icon, even if the package was installed - it just causes trouble with students that want to play around).
