I've been using Hardy Heron Alpha 6 for the past couple of days. I
noticed that the Clock Applet that's in alpha 6 has some empty space on
the left - roughly 10 to 15 pixels. I tried to see if there was any
preference that could possibly resize the applet so that there isn't so
much of empty space on the left, but didn't find any. I tried several
theme settings, but its not theme specific. It maintains its width even
when its moved around.
