I am not completely sure which of the debugging tasks you're after but here goes two (which I'm not too sure how to interpret, either)...
$ dbus-monitor --session "type='signal',interface='org.freedesktop.PowerManagement'" - Gives me no event acknowledgements at all in the terminal, neither on AC (un)plugging, nor on low battery $ gnome-power-cmd.sh suspend - Suspends nicely and gives output: Suspending Error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken. -- [Gutsy] Action on critical battery isn't triggered - regression https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/135548 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-power-manager in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
