Mr. Kublik:

Thanks for the response. I'm sorry that I didn't reply or get back to the
bug report, the site for reporting bugs and tracking them is too difficult to
navigate so there was no way to get back to the initial bug report to post a
fix for the problem. The problem was that I was using a Nvidia video card and
it had a problem with the driver. I found a fix on the Livina site that took
care of the problem, I tried to report back to the bug post, to post the fix,
but like I said I could not locate the posting again.
I enjoy using Linux products and am currently working on a Fedora 8 server
setup and have recommended Ubuntu to friends and collegues, which some have
installed and are using. I sure do wish that there were a better way to post,
track, search for bugs on any of the Linux sites. I think that in itself would
push for a greater demand and use of Open Source software. If I were better at
programming I would submit an interface that was better suited for that
purpose. But as it stands the current sites are too confusing, and totally
unnavigatable to any type of novice or a common user of Open Source software.
The one thing that I can say about it is that it is so much less confusing than
the Microsoft sites.

Again Thanks for the reply, and could you please post the fix for me
as being a video driver problem.

Subject: [Bug 139542] Re: screensaver logs off user when
engaging/cannotaccess control through GUI

  Hi there
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu
better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in
it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with
the development version of Ubuntu, Hardy Heron?

  Thanks in advance.
