I'm using the Plain theme. The background I use is not the default one, but I can't remember how I changed it, it was a long time ago :-\ I'll attach a screenshot of my settings, in case it helps. The only steps I can think of to trigger the bug are to use my settings, start a game and keep an eye on the preview.
