Alacarte, the menu editor, seems to shows all .desktop files in /usr/share/applications.
Bug-buddy and apport-gtk both have "NoDisplay" set to true in their desktop file, which makes them disappear from the normal menus. That's why alacarte marks them specially: small and italic. Entries which are small and italic are not supposed to be added to menus. If you feel that this requires further discussion, feel free to re-open this bug. ** Changed in: alacarte (Ubuntu) Sourcepackagename: app-install-data-ubuntu => alacarte Status: Confirmed => Won't Fix -- apport-gtk does not start from menu https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/208340 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to alacarte in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
