Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gvfs
hardy updates as of today. Just set up a webdav share on my private network so my family could have (non-NFS) shares on thier computers. My laptop running hardy can connect to the dav share through nautilus and create and edit files, but it can not rename files. It says 'could not rename <file>, operation not supported by backend'. Seems like Konqueror can do it just fine so i don't think it's a server problem, i suspect a nautilus gvfs problem. Is the GVFS/webdav backend supposed to support renaming files? ** Affects: gvfs (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- gvfs/webdav can't rename files in nautilus https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/210684 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gvfs in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
