Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
I just booted into XFCE4 in an up-to-date hardy system and the text in the "Battery may be broken" alert was truncated. http://dooglus.rincevent.net/random/battery2.png shows a screenshot. 'strings' shows the full message: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ strings /usr/bin/gnome-power-manager | grep 'which means that' Your battery has a very low capacity (%i%%), which means that it may be old or broken.
