After adding the debug repositories, I tried to install metacity-dbgsym, but encountered an unresolveable dependency as follows:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ sudo apt-get install metacity-dbgsym Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable distribution that some required packages have not yet been created or been moved out of Incoming. Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that the package is simply not installable and a bug report against that package should be filed. The following information may help to resolve the situation: The following packages have unmet dependencies: metacity-dbgsym: Depends: metacity (= 1:2.20.0-0ubuntu3) but 1:2.22.0-0ubuntu2 is to be installed E: Broken packages Is it possible the dbgsym respository has not yet been updated? -- metacity crashed with SIGSEGV after Alt-F2 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/211509 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
