Public bug reported:
When changing the desktop background, the colors in the preview thumbnails are displayed incorrectly (see attached image, the pictures should be Ubuntu-colored). This happens on a Sun Ray display, so the X server is _not_ Xorg. Sun Rays have a slightly unusal X11 visual with the color components ordered differently than most Xorg visuals (RGB vs. BGR). (This has caused problems with other software in the past, see http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/msg05751.html) I'm reporting this here because it is a bug in a package distributed by Ubuntu, even though in my case it surfaces when used in conjunction with closed-source software. ** Affects: control-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- background preview shows odd colors https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/213073 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to control-center in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
