It appears to be related to gnome-panel starting when it prompts me for my keyring password, to unlock my wireless config... That's the only thing that I noticed it doing tonight; I had left to go run some errands, and when I got home and started the laptop, it prompted me to unlock the keyring, and as soon as it did, gnome-panel crashed, but respawned. As soon as that happened, I didn't have a nm-applet (network manager applet, right?) in my systray, so I logged out, and back in, and we were back to "normal".
Hope this helps -- gnome-panel crashed with SIGSEGV in toupper_w() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/213125 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-panel in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
