Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: ekiga
Primary Client: Ekiga 2.0.12.Ubuntu2 (Hardy Heron Beta)
Secondary Client: Ekiga 2.0.11 (Gusty)
When making a SIP/H.261 call to other Ekiga (Gusty) client, the call is
established with full video and audio however the call then disconnects after
approx 20-30 seconds. Asterisk reports no reply on critical packet to SIP
account (Hardy Ekiga Client) and then proceeds to terminate call. The same
fault also occurs if the call is made to SIP handset , audio lasts 20-30
seconds and then terminates with same fault.
I proceeded to roll back to Ekiga 2.0.12.Ubuntu1 and the fault disappears.
Something has broken the H.231 protocol in Ekiga 2.0.12.Ubuntu2, I will
endevour to get the Asterisk debug log to try and get more information.
It is not an IP related problem
Regards,
Alan Hanley
