In Gnome, I lose the ability to change my wallpaper if I show or hide
desktop icons.
I am using Ubuntu hardy (development branch) 8.04
To replicate the bug do the following;
1. Confirm that you can change desktop wallpaper
(system/preferences/appearance/background)
2. Now run gconf-editor and edit apps/nautilus/preferences and tick or clear
show_desktop
3. Try to change your wallpaper as before. It doesn't change.
4. Repeat step 2 toggling show_desktop.
5. Try to change your wallpaper as before. It should change this time.
** Affects: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu)
