I have compiz enabled. It doesn't happen for a specific pdf. It happens to all of them. Once it will happen then the next time I open it it will load fine. It looks like it happens randomly or at least i can't find any specific cause for it. I'll try opening some files with and without compiz over the weekend and will post again. I wasn't having this problem in gutsy.
