I can confirm this behavior. It happens randomly on my side. I can't really think of a way to trigger this. Right now totem sits in the background eating 100% of one of my cpu cores and has Uninterruptible status. Can't stop it, can't kill it. All I know is that it happens when I try to close it. Its window does disappear, but the process stays in the background and eats CPU power. What else can I say.. I'm using PulseAudio sink in gstreamer and I was listening to a shoutcast stream. I'll post more info the next time I encounter this issue.
