The fix for this bug has been released in Nautilus 2.14.0 which is in Dapper. I
tried creating a folder "abba" and then renaming it to "zabba" and the folder
"zabba" is selected after the rename both in list and icon view, in both the
spatial and the browser view.
Closing. Please reopen should the issue still exist with Dapper for you.
