Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome
I run metacity inside gnome. Immediately on login, I type the 1 key on
the numeric keypad, and gnome crashes and a get kicked back to gdm.
Attached is the .xsession-errors file. There are no errors of
consequence logged in the X or gdm logs, and I'm not sure how to debug
this further. It might be related to one of the other gnome bugs that's
been reported above, but considering I can crash gnome at the push of a
keystroke, and I don't have a stacktrace, I'd report it separately and
see what happens.
I'm not sure which gnome package is at fault, so setting package to
"gnome"
