I have tried Dapper Drake Ubuntu + 2.6.15-19-686 and have a serious problem
browsing my samba server on a FreeBSD box. Here are the open files (using ssh
into the freebsd box) while I browse using Nautilus on Dapper Ubuntu:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~] while true; do sysctl kern.openfiles; sleep 2; done
kern.openfiles: 114
kern.openfiles: 114

>> I close the nautilus browser and start over down the same path. Notice old
>> files are not closed and browsing same path opens new files.

kern.openfiles: 570
kern.openfiles: 589
kern.openfiles: 931
kern.openfiles: 931
kern.openfiles: 931

This does not happen with Breezy. It works as expected - as does knoppix,
xandros, win98, win2000. Samba is version 3.0.22
I increased the the open file limit on the freebsd box so that the server does
not run out of file handles so quickly.

I am requesting a higher severity because this is a showstopper for deploying
Drake onto a network with a freebsd server.
