You have been subscribed to a public bug:
When one is using the tool to automatically remember wireless passwords, the
first time one tries to access a wireless network, a pop-up box appears asking
for the master key for all wireless passwords.
This conflicts with Network Manager tool.
If one clicks on the network manager tool, a "drop down" appears showing all
available wireless networks.
If that "drop down" is displayed, then the pop-up box appears for the master
key, no mouse or keyboard input is possible.
There must be some sort of deadlock.
restarting gdm recovers from this situation, but it logs one out.
