Hi there: I'm not sure any more what the earlier behavior was, but here's what's going on now.
I have a strange mail folder arrangement as follows: Inbox -- With messages |_Folder1 -- with messages |_Folder 2 -- with messages Etc. Although Evolution shows a number of messages on the Inbox in the folder window (on the left), clicking on "Inbox" does not bring up the message list -- it remains empty. Other mail software does not exhibit this problem.
