Earlier today when I was investigating this bug I noticed that if I go into Preferences inside audacious and switch the output plugin from ALSA to PulseAudio -- then the problem does away and I get seamless playback.
>From this viewpoint, I believe it would be a great idea to switch the default audio output plugin in audcaious from ALSA to PulseAudio. This assumes that there is no known reasons why doing that would be a bad idea of course. According to the PulseAudio developers, this is in fact the recommended setting; see this URL: http://www.pulseaudio.org/wiki/PerfectSetup Is there a MOTU contact person for audacious? -- totem plays movies in slowmotion when audacious is playing a song https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/226631 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to totem in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
