You have been subscribed to a public bug:
when opening file chooser in whatever program it's about a minute to
open the small window. When openend it works like a charm. It doesn't
matter in which directory it opens or from which program (for example,
savinf image in firefox, saving document in openoffice or gedit, ...).
I'm using ubuntu Hardy already for more than 3 months so this bug could
be due to some previous bad updates?
I'm having this problem since about a week before the final release. I
was hoping the problem would be solved.
