Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

In Hardy, when my display is dimmed from idleness, and Amarok switches songs on
its playlist, it brings up a notification indicating the new songs
title/artist/etc, and this brings the display back to its default brightness
(well not really, but that is a different bug ale).
Without keyboard/mouse activity, GPM shouldn't be bringing the display back up.
With gnome-power-manager 2.22.1-1ubuntu4, amarok 2:1.4.9.1-0ubuntu3.

** Affects: gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
