Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: nautilus
In Gutsy "Connect to server - Windows share" still worked fine. Entering
my user name and password I always got write permissions.
In Hardy, when I try to connect to a Windows- or Samba-Share on a Server
in my workgroup using my user name, I am still asked for a password.
After entering my password, I get the error message "can't display,
share not mounted" (free translation of the german error message...).
But an icon appeares on the desktop for this share. By opening this
icon, a second icon appeares for the same share. Yet both of them are
anonymous connections without write permissions.
In Hardy I have never been able to establish a non-anonymous connection
and to get write permission via Nautilus - gvfs.
** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
