I'm using Gutsy on Dell Inspiron 6400 (Core 2 Duo, ATI Mobility X1400).
When trying to make a change to a profile, sabayon editor will crash.
The error message is also misleading about the location of the log file.
Below are the steps, and log file contents, screenshots will follow.

Steps to reproduce:
1). Install User Profile Editor (a.k.a. sabayon).
2). Create a user with default privileges (although this might not be
necessary) and a sabayon profile.
3). Select the profile and start editor
4). Try making a change, e.g. remove the bottom panel.
5). Voila
