Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evince

When I copy some text with non UTF-8 characters from a PDF document and
past this content in other Gnome application, a new line is displayed
under the pasted line with special characters under each non UTF-8
character from the line pasted.

Obs.: My current Gnome character encoding is ISO-8859-1.
