Public bug reported: Placing a copy in Nautilus of a file called "file1 (copy) – edited" in the same folder results in a file called "file1 (another copy)" instead of "file1 (copy) – edited (copy)".
Steps to reproduce: 1.Create a file called "file1" (or any other name). 2.Copy-paste "file1" in the same folder. The copy is automatically labeled “file1 (copy)”. 3.Rename “file1 (copy)” as “file1 (copy) – edited”. 4.Copy-paste “file1 (copy) – edited” in the same folder. The copy is now automatically labeled “file1 (another copy)” instead of “file1 (copy) – edited (copy)”. ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- copying a file in nautilus results in wrong file name https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/231045 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
