Public bug reported:
When resuming from a standby that was initiated through the <Fn>+<Esc>
keyboard sequence done from the gdm menu, gdm fails on resume, and
doesn't restart. The computer stops responding, and is stuck at an
unresponsive terminal. <Ctrl>+<Alt>+<F1-F12> don't do anything. The only
thing that it is possible to do is <Ctrl>+<Alt>+<Del> to restart the
computer.
This could be because the suspend action requires that gdm restart, but
gdm does not restart since it did not initiate the suspend? I don't know
what program handles suspend from the keyboard shortcut. Anyway, the
keyboard shortcut works any other time except when viewing the gdm menu.
