Public bug reported:

Hello, I had this problem on my fiesty, gutsy and now in hardy seems to go one
step further for the bad.
My system is a lenovo t60 and after installing Hardy I have noticed this:

- when pressing Fn+PgUp (brighten combination) there are 4-5 steps that
go as supposed, upwards but when Fn+PgDn (dimm combination) there are
only 3 steep steps down to dimmest.

- Also it seems that brightness doesn't go up as bright as on windows.
When the power cable is unplugged, the brightness dimms, then plug in
again and the brightness goes up a level but not as bright as first,
when the computer was booted with AC power on.

I am new to reporting bugs so please advice what commands should I issue
and post their output here...

Thanks in advance.
