*** This bug is a security vulnerability ***

You have been subscribed to a public security bug:

using Hardy 8.04 that is current as of 5-18-08.

if you open up nautilus and type an ssh url in the location text box it
'mounts' the server, causing it to appear on the desktop.

1) mounting a connection to a server in this manner (though requested ssh)
results in an sftp connection that is mounted at the desktop.
2) entering "ssh://[EMAIL PROTECTED]" also results in a freeze up or crash of
nautilus including toolbars.
3) the mount folder disappears after the session has ended. though the
'bookmarks' remain at the [Places] toolbar and seemingly cannot be deleted.

** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
