To get file sharing up and running in Ubuntu Hardy, I recently followed
instructions to install "nautilus share". The result is that my the
"file browser" no longer responds to letter and number keys from the
keyboard.
First I am running a fresh install of Ubuntu Hardy.
Here are my steps:
- right clicked on a folder->sharing options
- clicked on "share this folder"
- updated nautilus when prompted
- restarted my machine
Following the restart
- mouse input works
- keyboard input (letter, numbers etc) works in the terminal
- In the file browser
- letters and numbers do not respond in the file-browser
- the delete and enter keys still respond
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
