Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-session

Steps to reproduce this behavior:
Click System -> Quit...
Hit Cancel before screen fully darkens.
Repeat these steps several times.

Expected behavior is to restore previous look.

Objects, that aren't darkened: mouse cursor, menus, dropdowns, tooltips,
notifications and few others.
