Oh, and I forgot to mention--this is from the second try. On the first try, my whole computer froze (black screen with intermittent "wait" cursor) and I had to reboot, which is not uncommon for me when I use totem. -- totem won't start with totem-xine engine https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/32401
