Ok same here cant get it to reapeare so it must have been somthing lingering from an earlier version of dapper. (Wath i did was basicaly activating the antialisning so that the problem disapeared and then reactivating antialiasing but was unable to make it reapeare) -- Bad font rendering with antialiasing off https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/33498
